Manufacturing Operations Tracking

• Case study: Component Tracking and Analysis. A local automobile parts manufacturer contracted with Creative Strategies to create a tracking system for a particular component. The manufacturer ran a Just-In-Time (JIT) operation to supply a major automobile manufacturer. While a 60-second window was allowed to create each part, the supplier was tracking at 54 seconds. Installing a tracking and analysis system that produced no delay beyond 60 seconds was required. Creative Strategies designed an intuitive tracking system, which did not add ANY measurable time to the manufacturing process. As an additional benefit, we created a monitoring system allowing the plant manager and supervisors to monitor the line’s progress from any computer in the building.

Consultant Pharmacist Drug Regiment Review system
A major pharmaceutical company conducts drug regiment reviews in nursing homes to continually monitor prescription drug use by residents and make recommendations to physicians based upon federal, state, and organizational guidelines. A single review was paper-intensive and required a lengthy 45 minutes to complete. Creative Strategies’ reduced this review process to less than five minutes using customized technology. Additionally, the application included a “review dictionary”, which allowed reviewers to add new terms to its regiments. This system allowed for a consistent set of professional documents with accurate spelling, punctuation, and lexicography that could be delivered quickly to physicians, nursing home managers, and other health care professionals.
